The WVEPAH Certificate in Animal Health: Poultry Production sharpened my knowledge in poultry production, exposing me to elements I had never experienced before. The multiculturalism of lecturers and students stretched my network and deepened my understanding of the geo-specificity of this industry. I developed stronger connections with various authorities in my area of responsibility and was requested to join several committees that target stakeholders’ involvement. Following this course, I was promoted at Boehringer Ingelheim.

First of all, I am thankful to WVEPAH for providing me with the platform to enhance my practical knowledge in the poultry field with top-rated teachers. Overall, my experience with the WVEPAH course was outstanding. I earned the CAHPP certificate, and during the preparation of clinical cases, I felt a positive change in myself, enabling me to address diseases, management, and nutrition for practical problem-solving. I gained a strong foundation in practical studies. All teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields, and the class environment is conducive to learning. Exchange sessions with multicultural classmates were fantastic; these classmates hold top positions in their companies. The course material is up-to-date with a wealth of the latest research-based knowledge, which is fully applicable in the field. I strongly recommend the WVEPAH courses to all professionals working in the poultry industry to boost their academic and practical knowledge with top-rated teachers. I work at a diagnostic lab where I have to give advice concerning health issues to practicing veterinarians as we have very few vets specialized in poultry health issues in the field. Attending WVEPAH program gave me an very good update on issues concerning practical veterinary medicine in the poultry sector. This education has been really useful, and I find the material very valuable. I have got a lot of useful information to use in my profession. I especially appreciate the lectures of vanMeirhaeghe, Petrik, Gingerich, Rubinoff’s lectures on lightning and Plumstead’s lectures on nutrition.
